Chipotle Enchilada Sauce
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 tbsp All Purpose Flour
- 1 ½ tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp chipotle chili powder
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp oregano
- ¼ tsp ground cayenne
- 1 15 oz can of tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, stir in both chili powders, and flour. Stirring often, cook until lightly browned.
- Add water, tomato sauce, and the rest of the spices. Stir constantly until smooth. Cook for about ten minutes until thickened. Adjust with water if overly thick
